Saving Death: a Sister Cecile Mystery by Winona Sullivan

Sister Cecile of the Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel is back, and sought out by a loaded Central Florida sodbuster to figure out a twenty-year old execution defence whose primary individuality witnesses are either deathlike or not keen to shovel up the past. Though Sister Cecile appreciates the cloistered inquisition work, which keeps her Miami status earth for ageing nuns maintained, she is loath to help yourself to fortune when she believes the legal proceeding cannot be solved after so lasting. What she does not cognize is that that man who hired her was inactive and condemned the wrong way for the aforesaid assassination. Having matured a new energy xx years after escaping prison, he is eager for the truth, and for approaching.

It turns out, however, that as Sister Cecile investigates, mortal other desires coming. In fact, causal agent wants to friendly the box lid on the acceptable nun herself up to that time she discovers too much.

Cecile's detective slog (not to bring up the urgency to get away a hired manslayer) takes her to Providence, where on earth she mixes near numerous relatives of cuss nun Sister Linda, who's concealing a few secrets nether her own garment and gets too vast into the esoteric suitcase that, even when her good person wants to quit, she breakthrough she cannot bring to a halt until the grip is solved, even if it finances her own time.

I'm a big fan of Sullivan's dilemma stories, and Saving Death is a well-written, fast-paced installment to an overall intense cycle.
